we love festivals POTD's
Todays POTD came from The How Weired Street Faire in SF, CA 2007, check the website for 2008 dates: we had tons of fun! While we were in the city I actually got kicked out of Raley's for being "naked", and I could hardly believe it. I was wearing what you see in the pictures below. In the left Alissa and I with Tory, from ,The Mythbusters, and then we had a little water fight, it was a hot day, and it felt so good. Nov 14 POTD came from Burning Man! in Reno, NV. I am pictured here with our phallis de playa! Yes those are 4 large penis that shoot flames from the top, this picture was on sunday evening the day before the event started. We were on the playa for 14 days this year. It was magical. We don't have most of our pictures up yet, we took 10,000 pictures this year, and it takes some time to go through.
and last but certainly not least, Lightning in a Bottle, down near Santa Barbara, CA: these goddesses were such a pleasure to watch, so talented, and so magical. This was by far the best event of 2007! We are gathering a troop this year to go down with us. I would like to mention that all three of these events took as much care and consideration to be as green as possible. From the biofuel that is placed in the generators, to the recyclying units, the vendors, and the overall messages of community, and people. So much fun to be had, with such conscious intentions. You really can have the time of your life, and still be able to support this beautiful planet we all live on.
